Every Thursday night and Sunday twilight, seasoned fiddlers, flute players, and accordionists pull their chairs into a tight circle near the hearth. Visiting players from Ireland and across New York take their turn beside neighborhood veterans.
The floor remains open to listeners with tea or stout in hand. There is no stage elevation or microphone interference—just the natural resonance of spruce tops, calfskin bodhráns, and rhythmic foot taps against tongue-and-groove floorboards.

Musicians assemble by eight in the tavern snug. Reels, hornpipes, and slow airs run unamplified while brown bread and evening pints circulate.
Braised beef and root vegetables served in heavy crockery from five o'clock onward, soundtracked by quiet duo sets in the dining room.
Afternoon set dances and live tunes in the tea parlour, welcoming families, step dancers, and tea drinkers with freshly baked scones.
Carved roast beef and Yorkshire puddings beginning at noon, leading into the twilight acoustic session around the main hearth.
